2018: “Car shut off while on the highway randomly started shaking. All lights turned on check engine, motor oil light battery light. Car shut off to the point where I couldn't accelerate. So imagine being on the highway and your car shuts off randomly while your in motion and cant accelerate to merge to the emergency lane. This happened 4 more times on my way to the dealership less then 800 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

NHTSA complaint #11130331, filed 2018-09, 800 miles

2017: “While driving down the highway my vehicle stalled. When finally got it back started it made a awful knocking noise. Had it towed to the dealership and they informed me it was the rod bearings. They said I didn't qualify for a replacement because I was 1,000 miles over warranty. These motors should have a recall like the 2011-2016 these motors are doing the same thing as them. Yet there is no recall my kids and husband could of been really injured especially since it stalled on the highway.”

NHTSA complaint #11412936, filed 2021-04, 101,296 miles

2020: “Engine loss of power. While accelerating vehicle seemed to have a major loss of power and refused to accelerate. 7 speed dct clunks into gear hard and rpms go flying high but car will not move. Have to turn off car leave overnight.”

NHTSA complaint #11354088, filed 2020-09, 1,900 miles
