Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Earlier this summer my front passenger window, driver control would roll the window down but not up, then about 2 months later the same issue with the driver side rear window it is very puzzling how the driver control will lower the involved windows, but its as if the driver controls are dead when trying to roll up??? But if you use the up switch on the door the window is associated with they work both ways. Risky in some of the areas I have to travel for work to reach over or behind you to put up windows! Had anyone experienced these problems?”

NHTSA complaint #10653647, filed 2014-11, 70,000 miles

“While driving I went to dim the rear view mirror because someone had their brights on me and the rear view mirror fell off. It shocked me and so when I pulled over to look at exactly what happened I noticed that it was not the adhesive to just wear off, a chunk of the glass came off with the rear view mirror. There is currently a hole in my windshield, it is not all the way through but a mechanic said if I even hit a pothole too hard the windshield can shatter. I am not the hulk and can't rip apart glass so the only thing I can think of is that this is a serious manufacturer defect. …”

NHTSA complaint #10583100, filed 2014-04, 40,080 miles

“Water leaks from windshield area into behind dashboard and accumulates on floor mats(front area). Front right wheel scraping noise. Already replaced tire, premature tire failure. Heater control lights turns off.”
