2020: “I was driving on a 6 lane rd., nearing an intersection. I was in the middle lane, traffic on both sides of me. When I applied the brakes to stop the car, my brakes failed. I ended up hitting the car in front of me. I was lucky that we were all driving at a very slow speed an I did not have serious injuries, just one week of neck and back pain. The brakes failing happened once before. My daughter was at an intersection with no traffic. The light changed to yellow. When she tried to apply the brakes, they failed and she had to go through the yellow light. …”

2019: “Apparently, a front-end collision occurred while the vehicle was parked and unoccupied in a parking lot resulting in $1232 in damage to body parts, anti-collision radar, and electronic cruise control. Astonishingly, the bumper and even the front license plate sustained almost no visible damage whatsoever. See photos attached. The collision must have happened at extremely low speed and it is obvious the front bumper did nothing to protect the rest of the car--its primary intended function. This would be the equivalent of a house burning down to protect the fuse box. …”

2021: “The Auto Hold feature on my Hyundai Ioniq malfunctioned, displaying a dashboard warning: AUTO HOLD conditions not met. Press brake pedal. This message randomly appears while driving or stopping, and it deactivates the Auto Hold and Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) functions. In some cases, the car rolls after stopping because the system fails to hold the vehicle. This issue compromises vehicle safety, especially on inclines or during stop-and-go traffic. It puts me, passengers, and other drivers at risk. The problem has occurred multiple times and is unpredictable. …”
