“This issue was first noticed on December 13th, 2021, and has been an ongoing frustration. I am constantly getting this error: Parking Sensor Error or Blockage. Please take a look at the attached picture as a reference. On February 8th, 2022, I brought my Hyundai Palisade to the dealer's service department for them to find out what may be wrong. Their technician notes: Scan all modules for codes with GDS. No DTC in any module. Drove vehicle testing all front and rear sensors, and all are working as designed. Please see attached PDF of the service department's official printout. …”
NHTSA complaint #11498759, filed 2022-12“Car was purchased new in May of 2020 and all systems worked as expected. After approx 3 months and 2000 miles the rear backup camera began to pixilate and then failed resulting in a blue screen. Went to a different dealer and they advised replacement of the camera. Returned vehicle to another dealer and they replaced the camera and it worked for about a month then pixilated and failed again. Took the car to a different dealer who checked the connections and cable and advised that the camera needed replacement again. …”
