“Door handle peeling or chipping. The metal is sharp and have warn every person that works on my vehicle. I have spoke to dealership while back they stated that it would not be fixed. On my previous vehicle same thing had happen and the dealership replace even though I was a secondary owner. This vehicle in question I have been primary care owner. Before someone cuts them self with sharp metal or coating that is off on a door handle where you open the door is concerning.”
NHTSA complaint #11768386, filed 2026-10“Two days ago, my husband took our vehicle to the car wash. At the other end of the car wash, it was discovered that the closed panoramic sunroof was completely destroyed during the process. Shards of glass were everywhere. We have contacted Hyundai and they have told my husband there is no class action suit about this problem. Even though it is under warranty, as it is a 2022, they refuse to take responsibility to take care of the damages. …”
NHTSA complaint #11501232, filed 2023-01“The paint is peeling on my white Hyundai palisade. I see all over the internet that people are having issues with the white paint peeling. I cant find anyone who can help me. How can I get this fixed without cost?”
NHTSA complaint #11626660, filed 2024-11“Our family was driving home and we then heard a LOUD noise coming from the car roof. Startled from the unexpected boom, as there was not a car in front of us nor debris of any kind in the lane being driven in. The windshield was free of any cracks/damage as well as the front body of the vehicle. The sunroof shattered on it's own. Luckily the sunroof cover was closed and glass did not enter the interior vehicle, a big blessing as our children were in the second and third row seats. …”
NHTSA complaint #11516351, filed 2023-04“When the child safety lock is engaged and the vehicle is in a driving or no-driving state, all the doors start to make a clicking noise. I am not sure if the child lock is engaged at this point, which creates safety issues, especially when driving with kids.”
