As I was driving uphill, at about 55 MPH, my hood flew up and smashed against the windshield, and wrapped around the roof of the car. I was passing a log truck when this happened, and there wasn't anywhere to pull over, so I drove looking through the curve under the hood, and used all of my mirrors until I could get to a safe place to pull over. My 13 yr. Old son was in the passenger side, and we were both completely in shock. …”
