NHTSA complaint #11202783, filed 2019-04, 40,000 miles“The contact owns a 2006 Infiniti FX35. The contact stated that whenever it rained, water entered the headlight units and caused the headlights to turn off. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that one of the headlights was previously repaired and the vehicle was no longer included in the extended warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 181,000.”
