“After driving about 20 minutes, the intelligent cruise control starts to malfunction. It first will shut itself off randomly. From there it gets worse, reactivating the cruise control causes the car to sometimes see cars that are not there and applies brakes to stop the vehicle on the freeway, or even worse (and more often) does not see cars that are there and continues to drive on a collision course, until I'm just feet from the cars bumper and hit the brakes. If I do not take action the car will crash into others. …”
NHTSA complaint #10156573, filed 2006-05, 4,800 miles“Seat (driver's) adjustment/ movement (back & forth) has a scary 'kink/twist/wiggle'. I fear that the seat may become dislodged from it's rail/track, while driving. Also, the passenger side front electric window lift does not close, but reopens about 2-inches when the window lift button is released.”
