“The sidewalk of my tire blew out while driving on the highway in winter conditions. Luckily I was only going about 30 mph when it happened. The tires were advertised as 65,000 mile tires and my one tire catastrophically blew out with only 15000 miles on it. The tires are Cooper adventurer all season 225/55r17”

NHTSA complaint #11712182, filed 2026-01

“While driving on highway tire blew. There was nothing that I hit or drove over that would’ve caused this damage. Due to it being late at night I had to drive to a safe place before being able to switch to spare tire.”
