“A couple of months after driving my 2013 JX35 I began experiencing a shudder/shaking in my vehicle when driving in the 15 to 25 MPH range. The entire car shakes severely. It happen when trying to maintain speed in the range of 15 to 25 MPH. This is a range commonly driven in school zones, neighborhoods and freeway traffic during rush hour. Therefore, this problem is frequent. There is a feeling that I will lose control of the car while driving. I believe it is getting worse with time. …”
NHTSA complaint #10573943, filed 2014-03, 4,000 miles“2013 JX 35, rear subframe is cracked. With this vehicle only being in service approx 9yrs, i find it hard that a frame issue is even possible. This sounds like a manufacturer defect than anything else. Inspection at my local dealer found the issue when I brought it in from oil change. 3rd party service centers have all stated that there is no way that this truck has a subframe issue”
NHTSA complaint #11454706, filed 2022-03“The contact owns a 2013 Infiniti JX. The contact stated while coming to a stop, the contact felt the vehicle pulling to the left. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced both front struts, front passenger’s side control arm, the radiator, and the brakes however, the failure persisted. The mechanic also noticed that the rear subframe was rusted and had fractured. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was out of warranty The failure mileage was 150,000.”

The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and after speaking with the manufacturer, the dealer stated that there was no fix for the failure. The VIN was not available.
