Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I purchased the car new in 2007. It is extremely well maintained. I noticed about a year ago that the dashboard; especially the surfaces which face the front window, has developed a dangerous glaze. This glaze is very reflective and prevents proper viewing through the front windshield when light is on the dashboard; day or night. Nissan needs to address this problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10667610, filed 2014-12, 100,000 miles

“As the vehicle ages the dashboard melts. This melting leads to glare on sunny days and obscures vision. The shinny spots created in the dash distract from the road.”

NHTSA complaint #11161284, filed 2018-12, 125,314 miles
