“My 2007 Infiniti M45 suddenly lost all electrical power throughout the vehicle resulting in the engine stalling which potentially could have resulted in a crash. The vehicle was immediately towed to passport Infiniti of alexandria for diagnosis and repair. The diagnostic test revealed a failed intelligent power distribution module, ipdm which after in-depth research, has proven to be faulty in multiple nissan & Infiniti vehicles ranging from years 2004 - 2006. …”
NHTSA complaint #10368929, filed 2010-11, 80,000 miles“The contact owns a 2007 Infiniti M45. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to restart after numerous attempts. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that accelerator pedal sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 122,000.”
