“When braking the car jumps then brakes, the electrical system flickers sometimes and it won’t go into gear. If not used for a couple days a warning comes on. This has happened 2 times despite buying a new battery is what the dealership said it needed. Now it’s in the shop again for the same thing and not once did they tell me about the recall and now charging me for the software updates from the recall”

NHTSA complaint #11732918, filed 2026-04

“I am filing this complaint regarding my 2020 Jaguar I-PACE and recall H572 involving the high-voltage battery pack. My vehicle has approximately 90,000 miles. I received information regarding recall H572, which involves a potential thermal issue with the high-voltage battery pack that can create a safety risk. I am concerned about the safety and reliability of the vehicle because of the battery issue and the potential for a high-voltage battery failure or thermal event. …”

NHTSA complaint #11762911, filed 2026-09

“I was exiting a parking spot and I had my foot on the brake to start the vehicle and again to put the car in reverse. I backed out of my parking spot and turned 90 degrees to exit the parking lot. As I pushed down on the brake to stop and shift to drive, the pad that covers the brake pedal fell off, causing my foot to slip and hit the accelerator. I then struck another vehicle with the back of my car. In looking at the car after the accident, the pad that normally covers the brake pedal was on the floor of the car, between the brake and accelerator. …”

NHTSA complaint #11571371, filed 2024-02

“Was driving vehicle downhill on a small hill in Palm Springs when multiple error messages appeared in rapid succession on the information display, including 'traction battery fault - safe to drive with caution'. This was immediately followed by pull over and stop the car but before I had the chance to do so ALL the systems in the car ceased to operate and all electrical systems shut down. The breaks would not work, the steering would not work. I was still traveling down hill and unable to stop the car. The car continued for approximately 1/2 a mile and went through two stop signs. …”

NHTSA complaint #11417426, filed 2021-05

“Total brake system failure. Vehicle would not stop with two feet applied to the brake pedal. Third time this has happened. Jaguar has previously repaired.”
