“My 2020 Jaguar I-PACE is subject to NHTSA Safety Recall 26V-067, Jaguar campaign H572, concerning the risk of high-voltage battery thermal overload, smoke, and fire. The recall was reported on February 5, 2026. As of September 23, 2026, NHTSA continues to list my vehicle as “Recall Incomplete, remedy not yet available,” and Jaguar states that the permanent remedy remains under development. I have complied with the interim safety precautions, including the dealer implemented restriction on maximum battery charge. …”

“Ok after done charging my Jaguar I Pace I put my car in reverse it made a clicking noise and then had traction battery warning pop up and high voltage battery warning then battery fault in red the car then just pushed itself forward for no reason and almost ran into the charger so I put it in park it stopped clicking. I honestly thought the car was going to start on fire this was after the software interim recall it isn't a fix it's a monitoring system but it didn't fix the problem now look the car is in the shop. …”

NHTSA complaint #11737990, filed 2026-05

“I noticed a strong mildew smell in car. So I searched around car to see where smell was coming from noticed foggy moisture on windshield along with water drips. So I did some more searching and noticed front and back floor mats were wet. I pulled them up and carpet underneath was also wet. I took car to dealer in May 2024 and basically they stated they couldn’t find where water was coming from. And did I want to report water damage to my insurance company. I said ofcourse not because unknown water shouldn’t be in car. …”

NHTSA complaint #11606400, filed 2024-08

“I’ve been getting a High Voltage System Fault on my dash. When I search for this online other users mention a fire risk, but when I brought it in to the Jaguar dealership they claimed they couldn’t see the error and sent me back home with the car. The dealership doesn’t seem to be taking this seriously. The error can pop up at any time, sometimes while driving, and sometimes just by pressing the start Aux button without pressing the brake to start the car. The error comes and goes and can go days without showing up but I seem to notice it when the temperature is hot out”

NHTSA complaint #11675446, filed 2025-07

“High voltage battery is over heating. Constantly getting messages stating Traction Battery Fault Detected when charging or when there are days of extreme heats. In addition, when charging, a loud fan like noise is present and car gets really hot. Now my car is stating Stop Safely Battery Fault detected right in the middle of me driving and I lost power for about 14 seconds. Power goes in and out. Although my car VIN isn't included in the NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID: 24V183000 and Jaguar's number for this recall is H484. These vehicles were previously recalled under 23V-369. …”
