“When braking the car jumps then brakes, the electrical system flickers sometimes and it won’t go into gear. If not used for a couple days a warning comes on. This has happened 2 times despite buying a new battery is what the dealership said it needed. Now it’s in the shop again for the same thing and not once did they tell me about the recall and now charging me for the software updates from the recall”

NHTSA complaint #11732918, filed 2026-04

“on 12.25.24 I was driving when 4 warning alerts suddenly appeared on my dash: Forward Alert Not Available, ASPC not available, Stability control not available, Autonomous Emergency Braking System not available. I was able to pull over to a parking lot to read the alerts. However, when I tried to reverse out of the parking space to return home, there was no power in reverse. Luckily I was able to slightly roll backwards enough to make the turn in the mostly empty parking lot. If it had been busier I would have been unsuccessful. Once home the vehicle would not go into Park. …”

NHTSA complaint #11632724, filed 2024-12

“I was stopped at a stoplight, waiting to turn left. The light turned green I slowly engaged the accelerator. All occupants in the car felt the car jolt forward then the fault alarms went off. I was able to continue to drive the car safely and returned home. This is the second time this has happened within the last 30 days. The first time the vehicle bricked on me, it was towed to the Jaguar dealership in Tacoma Washington. There they reset the vehicle defaults disappeared, and it was returned to me. The first time this happened, I was turning into a parking lot and parked in a parking space. …”
