“While driving the car will shift off for no reason. It appears to be something wrong I have a new battery and don't now why it's losing power.. It cuts off while driving and when I made a turn but also while driving straight . Also the wheels feels like they are wobbly while driving in the front.”
NHTSA complaint #11362979, filed 2020-10, 1 miles“The inside door handles are breaking apart. Mine have not gotten to where they will not operate yet but they are loose I am concerned about the safety of getting stuck in the Jeep if they quit working. Online they are aftermarket fixes for this problem which means there are a lot of jeeps with this problem. I can not believe that this is not a safety problem that is being over looked.”
NHTSA complaint #11194675, filed 2019-04, 95,000 miles“Every single door handle in the Jeep broke under normal use somewhat able to open from inside, but a very big safty hazards when my kids or passengers cannot open the door from the inside. Kinda scary when you think about it. Slightly after revieving my used Jeep one door handle after the other breaks upon bumping into handle.”
NHTSA complaint #11053310, filed 2017-12, 76,000 miles“All 4 of my door handles on the inside are broken. The one in the back driver side is completely unuseable. I worry about the safety of anyone who gets in my car. The handles don't work. Anyone I've ever spoken to that owns one of these jeeps has the same issues. They are junk!!!! It's asking for a specific date at the bottom. They all started breaking randomly as soon as I got it.”
NHTSA complaint #10838957, filed 2016-02, 40,000 miles“Interior door handle plastic housing broke on two of four doors, the driver front and passenger rear. The drive side cracked when I opened it. The passenger rear broke in half when my 5 year old daughter opened the door. This is now a safety issue as the door is very hard to open.”
