“After I pumped gas into the car, as soon as I exited the gas station and entered on the street the car engine goes off, no power steering, no acceleration. I pull over to the right and put the car on park and restart the car. It was ok. I was hesistant to get on the freeway so I drove to a empty lot to see if it happen again and sure enough as soon as I travel a few yards, the engine goes off again. Scary if it happens in the middle of the freeway with lots of traffic.”

NHTSA complaint #10679278, filed 2015-01, 28,000 miles

“The first time, the check engine light went off I drove to the dealership and it was checked and returned, 2 weeks later the light turned on and the vehicle was taken back to the dealership, some oil applied to the connectors and returned. Yesterday, the light went off again while driving at 50mph, the vehicle stopped abruptly, the steering wheel didn't move and the engine stopped. Upon trying to restart the ignition, it kept starting by itself over and over. Now you can't accel the vehicle while in drive. The right strut was replaced on feb 2012 because it broke.”
