2007: “My 2007 Jeep Compass was just sitting in the yard not being driven was not hot and it just caught on fire by itself the fire department had to come and assist with put in the fire out the fire chief stated from his investigation that it was electrical problem from the lights and as I said the vehicle was not being operated and the lights was not on”

It activated the braking system when there were no vehicles in front of me for at least 40 yards and causing a vehicle that was following me to have to break and swerve to miss hitting me. I was on rt 15 in shamokin dam around 12:30 pm going 30 MPH”

Long story short this vehicle at its 100k miles needed a transmission replacement that cost me over 3000.00 with such little mileage I believe this is a manufacture error., ive heard several of these Jeep compasses needing transmissions under 100k miles”
