“The contact owns a 2019 Jeep Compass. The contact stated there were bubbles in the touch screen display. The contact stated that the display would activate with several features on and off. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the touch screen needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 49,000. The VIN was not available.”
