“Today my car stopped (again) in the middle of the road as I was driving and the emergency brake light went on. This is the third time that this has happened to me and I am literally scared out of mind to drive this car that I purchased for my birthday. I've only had the car for 6 months and this is a major safety hazard.”
NHTSA complaint #11396951, filed 2021-02, 31,000 miles“When I have to brake and come to a stop the car rumbles, then when completly stopped the car shuts off, then when I take my foot off the brake peddle the starter kicks in and starts the car in gear with a rumble and then I can go? It does'nt matter if on the high way or at a stop sign it rumbles, shuts off and restarts in gear. The car is (2) days old with 35 miles.”

This is not the first time since I've had this car that it has not crank. It has also turned off in the middle of traffic on a very busy highway while at a red light and did not turn back on. This is a problem I see many people are having with this similar vehicle.”

Tried locking, unlocking, pushing the start button repeatedly. After about 20 minutes car started on the way to my destination the car stalled and would not turn on and after a few minutes finally restarted. At the destination car again would not turn on after being stationary.”
