“Forward collision feature does not work. Does not detect possible collision and does not apply emergency braking. Dealerships told me I don’t have the forward collision warning plus unless I am using adaptive cruise control, which is false. These are two separate features.”
NHTSA complaint #11660932, filed 2025-05“There is a continual problem with this car. Randomly, about every 1-2 weeks, my entire infotainment center, customer settings, and seat preferences will reset to Italian and the metric system. When this happens, the front collision warning system turns off. The radio screen also begins to flash on and off, where I cannot use the backup camera and audio cuts out. I have had it to my local Jeep dealership about 6 times now, and they are able to reset the system but the problem comes back. …”
NHTSA complaint #11734403, filed 2026-04“A warning light popped up to tell me this system was disabled on my dashboard, at the same time the system switched to Italian and all of the units of measure switched to metric without warning. I took it in to the dealership and they reset everything, replaced the radio/computer, and assured me everything was working. Within a week, the same error occurred and the same issues. I took it back to the dealership and they acted like they had no idea why, but would look into it. …”
NHTSA complaint #11650205, filed 2025-03“There is an issue with the sensors. While driving for no reason it will break. It’s done it multiple times. While turning left. The sensors have stopped me in front of oncoming traffic. And won’t allow me to proceed forward. There is also an issue while trying to back out of parking spots. There will be nothing behind me. But it will break and not allow me to leave. This is very concerning. I am afraid to drive my vehicle. I’ve taken it into the dealership and they weren’t able to fix it.”
NHTSA complaint #11686321, filed 2025-09“The forward collision warning turns off on it's own. Jeep did an upgrade and now the radio turns off and on by itself, changes in preference happens without warning and forward collision warning stays lit. Jeep has replaced the radio 3 times since and I've been to the dealership at least 15 times to address the issue but the issue has not been resolved. This has gone on since 2023. Jeep is aware of the issue because i read a memo addressing it at the dealership but they would not provide me a copy of it.”
