“This is the second time I got into an accident and the (ADAS) made me crash.. I was far enough to brake safely but the system keeps me going forward..it drags me as if there is ice on the ground..if it was off my car would not have been in any of these accidents..this feature is not safe..I feel like my life is in danger when it is on”

NHTSA complaint #11743798, filed 2026-06

“The vehicle didn’t automatic update of its “UCONNECT” system without warning after stopping at a gas station. Once the vehicle was turned back on after the update was completed there was a light on my dashboard signaling that the forward collision warning system is off. Some other things happened as well such as all my settings were reverted back to factory settings, and the menu screen was in Italian. After online research, it seems that this is a very common problem with the specific model. …”

NHTSA complaint #11652305, filed 2025-04

“I own a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L covered under a Mopar Maximum Care extended warranty. My vehicle frequently displays the following safety-related warnings: - Auto Emergency Braking (AEB) Limited Functionality – Service Required - Blind Spot Alert Unavailable – Service Required - Active Lane Management (ALM) Unavailable – Service Required These warnings occur randomly, sometimes appearing and disappearing repeatedly within seconds. Because the malfunctions are intermittent and unpredictable, they are difficult to reproduce during a scheduled inspection. …”

NHTSA complaint #11770512, filed 2026-10

“In May 2025 the vehicle randomly, and without warning, the instruments, gauges, and displays switched to Italian, changed to Metric, and we got the update and FCW Off light stuck on. Numerous other settings had been reset. Took to dealer and had to pay for the fix - they noted a STAR bulletin on my invoice. Then this past weekend (May 2, 2026) it happened again. At least this time it didn't go Italian and Metric on me, but lots of other settings were changed. Did not test the paddle shifters but will do that soon. Current software version says FCA-MY24.U29.42-PROD. …”

NHTSA complaint #11735441, filed 2026-05

“The car updated itself and now my front collision warning light is on, I have tried to reset everything but still on. The update caused the warning light.”
