“I am the owner of a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. I received notification of Safety Recall 89D, NHTSA Campaign 26V-562, regarding a rear coil spring that may not be correctly installed and could detach from the vehicle while driving, creating a road hazard and risk of crash or injury. I contacted my dealership to schedule the repair. I was told the recall remains open and is listed as Incomplete, parts unavailable. …”
NHTSA complaint #11766966, filed 2026-09“Jeep caught on fire in my garage in the middle of the night when it was off, burnt my entire house down, 4 fire investigaters and a forensic scientist, swaid the fire started in the battery compartment.”
NHTSA complaint #11639887, filed 2025-01“I think it is the lumbar support bag in the driver's seat. It has blown up and blown up and will not deflate, to the point it is SO uncomfortable to drive and the seat back has POPPED completely open. I have pictures. I have read in some online forums other Jeep owners with this scabies l exact model have had issues. Why isn't this a recall? Help! We should not have to bear the burden of the expense of this system malfunction. How we pool together to get this considered a recall that Jeep must repair?”
NHTSA complaint #11694387, filed 2025-10“In May 2025 the vehicle randomly, and without warning, the instruments, gauges, and displays switched to Italian, changed to Metric, and we got the update and FCW Off light stuck on. Numerous other settings had been reset. Took to dealer and had to pay for the fix - they noted a STAR bulletin on my invoice. Then this past weekend (May 2, 2026) it happened again. At least this time it didn't go Italian and Metric on me, but lots of other settings were changed. Did not test the paddle shifters but will do that soon. Current software version says FCA-MY24.U29.42-PROD. …”
NHTSA complaint #11735441, filed 2026-05“The car updated itself and now my front collision warning light is on, I have tried to reset everything but still on. The update caused the warning light.”
