“Safety recall n01 / NHTSA 13v-233 reprogram occupant restraint control module this Jeep Patriot passenger seatbelt unlocks itself. When there is pressured applied to belt and it unlocks. It scares me because at times I have passengers such as my daughter and if anything happens to her or anyone else that is riding in my car I dont have a clue to what I would do.”

NHTSA complaint #10745481, filed 2015-07, 88,712 miles

“I was not notified that my Patriot was under a major safety recall. I contacted chrysler corp. And was given the run around. I finally was put into a rental that I did not have to pay for ( I had to pay the first week because they refused to pay for it at first) and as of now my car is sitting in my garage with a full tank of gas, brand new transmission and brand new tires. There is no fix and I have been in a rental for about two months. I feel this recall is bigger then they are leading on and that there will not be a fix. I do not know what to do. …”

“Recall number: 13v-233 and recall number: 16v-668 call dealer to have the recalls fixed, and they took my information saying they would call, but they never did. Now the problem has kept me from having the registration up dated. Resulting in getting thickets for driving with expired tags.”

NHTSA complaint #11408333, filed 2021-04

“Safety recall s61- to replace orc. In my vehicle it has already been inspected and the module has internally failed. I fear for my safety driving my vehicle with my child, knowing already that my airbags and seatbelts will not deploy in the event of an accident. Chrysler has no idea when the part will come in and so we just have to hope I do not get into a car accident prior to then according to chrysler.”
