NHTSA complaint #11082045, filed 2018-03, 17,000 miles“While driving my radio and headlights will start to surge then immediately after, the steering wheel will jerk out of my hands preventing me from turning the wheel in any direction (locks up). If I don't immediately park the car, the car will shut off on then a bunch of warnings will pop up on the dashboard then dynamic power steering warning with flash. I have to wait 10 minutes at least before being able to restart the car. This has happened every single time I drive the car. This has happened multiple times at red lights, turning into traffic, on the highway going 75mph and/or 30mph.”
