“This is the second time in approximately 7 days when I have started the vehicle to leave and the power steering error will display and I have 0 power steering! I drive this daily on the interstate with my child and I read a forum where some people lost power steering while driving, this is not an option or a risk I am willing to take.”

NHTSA complaint #11149903, filed 2018-11, 7,650 miles

“Bought my car brand new, after one month it started shutting off randomly. While driving on the highway the engine shut off completely. Shift gear to p appeared on my dash . I had to turn on and off multiple times before it would turn on again and occur over and over again. Got the car towed to the dealership who told me it was completely normal and that I should be checking my oil every time I get gas. Said all I needed was an oil change. Did not have any concern for the dangerous occurrence I was in on the highway.”

NHTSA complaint #11312013, filed 2020-02, 1,000 miles

“My stalled 3 times in 2 weeks. Twice I was slowing to take a turn-this happened a week apart in the same exact turn. Twice I was driving about 20 MPH. This happened on 4-21-19, 4-27-19 and 4-30-19. I have approx 5200 miles. I called chrysler and they said there were no recalls, that I probably do not need an oil change (she checked on this information). When the light goes on or 7-8,000 miles I should schedule one. No dash indicator lights come on. Each time I am able to guide my car out of traffic. …”
