“While driving, there is a clunk sound when the engine tries to switch gears. Also, the brake lights, turn signal lights, etc have a warning light that flashes saying the lights are out even when the lights are still working. I also had to replace he cooling fan in may 2018 due to my vehicle stopping, wouldn't drive, wouldn't start.”

NHTSA complaint #11320925, filed 2020-04, 87,000 miles

“My car was making a noise when I would accelerate like friction. Noticed a smell coming from AC vents. Took my vehicle into certified Jeep dealership. I was told about recall on engine cooling fan on my year and make of vehicle but my VIN wasnt listed even though it was the same exact issue. 700$ for fan replacement when mopar clearly acknowledges issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11255027, filed 2019-09, 50,000 miles

“The car engine shuts down unexpectedly while driving. Bought the car from autonation 3 months ago. I noticed the oil low pressure just started to come with the shutdown. This is very dangerous if driving on the highway. This model needs to be recalled because I found hundreds of similar situations online.”

NHTSA complaint #11399900, filed 2021-03, 2 miles

“As I was driving my Jeep made a noise and started to overheat. I had it towed to the dealership and they informed me that it would be $600 to replace. I researched this and there are hundreds of affected Jeep owners. There is no recall but my car could have caught fire. It's outside of the basic warranty as well. This needs investigated asap!”

NHTSA complaint #11092114, filed 2018-05, 43,000 miles

“I have a 2016 Jeep Renegade that I bought brand new. It has 45,000 miles and when my girlfriend was driving to get some lunch from work and the car started overheating. Now I have realized the issue is that the radiator fan has stopped working. After doing some research I have learned that this is a nation wide problem effecting many people.”
