“The latch to the rear emergency window broke. (I discovered this while opening the adjacent window for ventilation). This allows the window to flap open and closed (on its hinge) as you travel down the road. The window is for emergency exit so the latch has not been used and appears to have broken from metal fatigue. Cheap part made with cheap aluminum metal.”
NHTSA complaint #10745539, filed 2015-08, 5,000 miles“The contact owns a 2014 Keystone Montana 3725rl (na) recreational trailer. While the trailer was stationary, the screws that connected the metal beam to the bottom of the trailer became unscrewed. As a result, the metal beam detached. The trailer was taken to the dealer twice and the screws were replaced. The remedy was successful. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 150. ..updated 08-26-14 updated 09/2/2014”
