“My 2005 Kia Sedona was parked in my garage and it caught fire in the dash in front of the steering wheel. That is where the fire department said it started. It was a total loss, only had 115,000 miles, no issues. Thank god it was at 8 am and we were awake, earlier my whole family and our home may have been gone as well.”
NHTSA complaint #11268093, filed 2019-10, 115,000 miles“My drivers side power window was not always coming up or down I brought it in to the Kia dealership and they said the switch had melted. They also put in a new motor for the power window. Totaling $689 and the warranty isn;t there to help us. It was a second hand van. We are concerned since it is a 2005 Kia Sedona and its thus only 5 yrs old and that the fact it melted after over heating.”
