“The power sliding door on this vehicle has failed to operate, thus slamming shut and almost crushing my daughters hand in the door. This car has been brought to the dealership to be fixed at least 7 times, and it still fails to operate as it should. They claimed to have fixed it, but the problem continues. Now I am out of warranty and basically stuck with this issue.”

NHTSA complaint #10467700, filed 2012-07, 15,000 miles

“I replaced a blown 10 amp fuse on a dealer installed trailer wiring harness adapter. 15-20 minutes later I noticed a fire coming from driver's side rear light assembly. Removed fuse, removed lighting assembly, put out fire. In looking at damage, trailer harness adapter was melted along with several wires attached to it. Foam bumper padding caught fire and was melted. No visible body damage.”

NHTSA complaint #10548512, filed 2013-10, 93,700 miles

“I have had to replace headlights & turn signal lights every 3 months. I have spent hundreds of dollars on the light bulbs replacements alone. Not to mention all the sensors I have had to replace. I have spent thousands of dollars on those alone.”

NHTSA complaint #10632946, filed 2014-09, 12,000 miles

“The engine will not crank/start intermittently without rhyme or reason. Turn the key to start, the lights come on , all indicator lights turn on, all electrical devices such as lights and radio and heater are working, but the engine does not crank. The starter makes no noise whatsoever. This happens randomly and cannot be given to a dealer to fix as he may try it 20 times and it will start and I will try it the next day and it won't. I can turn the key back and forth 20 times and it will suddenly start. I sometimes exit the car, wait 10 minutes, and then it will start. …”

NHTSA complaint #11071724, filed 2018-02, 50,000 miles

“Went with my family to dinner and vehicle worked fine as usual. When we got back into the vehicle after dinner and I started it, I noticed the airbag light on, the A/C was on full blast and interior lights stopped working. Turned vehicle off, waited a minute and tried again with same results. Went home, disconnected the battery terminals, waited a couple of minutes and reconnected them and still the problem. Have looked on the internet and noticed other owners with same problem and no solution.”
