Example complaints
Electrical system: “My fuel light came on and I stopped to fill up with gas. While pumping, the pump clicked off multiple times. I knew it was not full. I got it to 17 gallons and left. As I was driving, I noticed the vehicle did not sound normal when shifting. I slowed to approach a turning lane and my vehicle proceeded forward. The breaks and the park button would not work. I ended up rolling into another vehicle, which stopped me. The was no forward collision warning. We were able to get the vehicle home and had it towed to the dealer. …”
NHTSA complaint #11770904, filed 2026-10Other or unknown: “I purchased a used 2021 SUV from a licensed dealer in January 2025. At the time of sale, the odometer was disclosed as showing just over 72,000 miles. However, I obtained a third-party vehicle history report that shows the vehicle had over 73,000 miles six months earlier. I personally photographed the odometer at nearly 76,000 miles only three days after the purchase. This suggests the odometer reading was rolled back or misrepresented prior to the sale. …”

The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, a warning message indicating that the brake pads needed to be replaced was illuminated. The contact stated that upon depressing the brake pedal, the brake pedal emitted abnormal sounds. The contact veered to the side of the road. The contact turned off the vehicle and restarted it. The contact was able to drive to his residence. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was it was diagnosed that the brake pads needed to be replaced due to normal wear. …”

I was out of town at the time and it was 630pm. I was able to take vehicle to a Advanced Auto so they could do a quick diagnostic check. Codes P0505--Idle Air Control System DTC Severity 2 of 3 and P0507--Idle Control System RPM Higher than expected also showed.
