Example complaints

Brakes: “Multiple Safety Concerns: 1)The vehicles Emergency Braking System engaged TWICE, SUDDENLY, and in busy traffic/highway situations. Now told BREAK PADS AND ROTORS are worn and rusted badly-unusually soon for a newly purchased car-less than a year old. The Austin Jaguar Land Rover dealership’s service person told me “most clients are replacing at 9,500 miles.” If this is truly the case, then why would my sensor warning system not alert me sooner? 2) The vehicle engine coolant light keeps coming on. …”

NHTSA complaint #11621538, filed 2024-10

Electrical system: “On January 27, 2026, while driving my 2023 Land Rover Range Rover a red warning light came on the dashboard stating Electric default detected . Following this warning light while driving the vehicle lost power and was unable to drive, steer, or brake. I was able to safely get the vehicle to the side of the road. After having it towed to the Richmond Land Rover of Richmond, VA, the following day the service department indicated the Epic Inverter/Converter had gone bad. …”

NHTSA complaint #11718293, filed 2026-02

Engine: “After coming to a complete stop at an intersection, I looked left-right-left before proceeding across the intersection. At the time I began to cross the intersection my vehicle seemingly did not accelerate as normal, causing my vehicle to be hit on the right driver side panel, spun around, and ripping the entire front end of my car off. Injuries were sustained and the vehicle may be a total loss.”

NHTSA complaint #11745341, filed 2026-06

Fuel system: “On March 18, 2026, while I was driving, the engine overheated. The coolant warning was hidden behind another alert on the instrument display, so I had no usable warning before a near engine failure. I had to pull over and the vehicle was towed to the dealer, where a coolant leak was confirmed and repaired. This is a recurring coolant system defect. …”
