“This vehicle stops suddenly and wont start. There is still no solution on how to fix this car . As asked from Lexus still they have no clue when this recall can be fixed. It has stopped many times behind traffic light on many occasions I am driving a loaner car but if I making payments I want my own car back I believe this car needs to be lemoned”
NHTSA complaint #11321470, filed 2020-04, 11,000 miles“Lexus 22019 ES 350 has fuel pump recall issue. No solution. Poses a real hazard if driving with family and fuel supply shuts off and travelling 70 on interstate and car stops and vehicle (trailer truck ) can not stop and plows into your rear end killing all family members and leaving you cripple. Why is it taking Lexus till march (per their website) to even get out a letter on this. My vehicle VIN has been identified as one that is on recall list. Why is this putting myself and my family in immediate danger? Why is the government not forcing Lexus to remedy this immediately?”
NHTSA complaint #11300692, filed 2020-01, 14,000 miles“2 incidents- july 2020 driving on city streets, car would not move/accelerate after stopping and had to turn off engine and restart engine. This happened twice on our way home. August 2020- driving on city street, car was at stop signal and would not accelerate after several attempts the acceleration did resume.”
NHTSA complaint #11350581, filed 2020-08, 7,500 miles“While at a stop sign or light, I have experienced on at least five separate occasions where I press the accelerator and the vehicle does not move. I took it in to the Lexus dealer last year and have set up another appointment again next Monday September 27. There response is that they will put it on their diagnostic machine.”
NHTSA complaint #11434058, filed 2021-09“Accident description: traveling south on I-95 just past the 895 split. I was traveling in the middle lane with a speed of 60-65 MPH. The car started to drift left quickly. There was no vibration warning through the steering wheel indicating lane departure. I was rapidly moving toward the concrete base of the moravia road overpass. The steering was tight. I attempt to brake and steer right but nothing seemed to work. The autobrake was on but did not apply and I hit the concrete base of the wall on the left front corner of the Lexus. …”
