NHTSA complaint #11674851, filed 2025-07“The latch to the fuel door does not unlatch/open. I could not access the fuel cap to refuel despite multiple attempts at unlatching. When i called Lexus support they advised me to pry the door open “using my fingernails” while someone else pressed the button to unlatch the fuel door. After multiple attempts I was able to open the fuel door. I was at risk of running out of fuel and be stranded on the highway. the dealer is in the process of ordering a replacement part. This is a brand new 2024 make/model and it is a serious fault that needs to be remedied”
