“1- ABS/Braking Issue The ABS system appears to be malfunctioning. On multiple occasions, typically once or twice a week, when I apply the brakes, the tires lock up and cause the vehicle to skid. This happens most often when descending hills or backing up on a sloped driveway. The wheels lock and slide until I release the brake pedal, posing a serious safety concern. 2- Severe Water Leak Interior Roof Area There is a significant water leak from the interior roof, specifically from the top center area near the rearview mirror, every time it rains. …”
NHTSA complaint #11691739, filed 2025-10“When starting the car at night, the center display will run at full daytime brightness until the driver manually presses one of the up/down display/interior brightness control buttons. Once pressed, the system realizes that it's night time and adjusts accordingly. Having the display at full brightness at night is a safety hazard for drivers unaware that you can use the brightness control buttons as a workaround. My local dealership says this is normal behavior.”
NHTSA complaint #11525404, filed 2023-06“Drivers side seat controls (drivers side door), light which illuminates controls, started flickering incontrollably at +/- 33,000 miles, causing significant distraction to the driver as is within drivers' peripheral vision, during nightime driving. Reported to dealership McDavid Lincoln Frisco, states there is a failure in the seat control unit, causing the light flicker, and recommended a replacement of the whole seat control unit. 10/23/26, Repair has not yet been authorised, as vehicle is just out of the 4 year warranty period.”
