2005: “I was driving my mercedes e320 2005 on I-75 and took exit 107. When I pushed my brake peddle I had what seemed to be no brakes and a red warning light came on the dash. I ran the car off on the grass to slow the car down. I had a green light and ran on the side street. This could have been a very dangerous situation. I am upset that mercedes would design a system that could do this.”
NHTSA complaint #11000927, filed 2017-06, 83,000 miles2003: “I was sitting with the car in park but still running and a warning light came up saying that the car war to low.looking online and reading others have complained about the same thing happing to the makes me think that there should be a recall issued. The same thing happened about seven months ago where I had to have the right side air sck replaced but with this problem both sides are sitting low which makes me think that the pump has went bad.”
