“The contact owns a 2013 Mercedes-Benz c63 amg. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17v627000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated, which was a safety concern. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer (fletcher jones imports, 7300 w sahara ave, las vegas, nv) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy due to being on backorder for the next year and a half. …”

The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. The VIN was not available.”
