“Dt: while the consumer was driving at 70 MPH on 4-27-05 the hood of vehicle flew up. When this happened it hit the windshield and broke it. When the vehicle was inspected on site they said that it was due to a missing bolt in the hood latch. This occurred without previous warning. The consumer was no longer in direct possession of the vehicle.”

The contact's husband had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V861000 (Exterior Lighting). The vehicle was taken to a local dealer for the recall repair. The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact was made aware that only the light control module (LCM) module harness was replaced and not the light control module itself. The contact also stated that after the vehicle was returned, the driver's door latch was fractured, and the front passenger’s side headlight failed to illuminate intermittently. …”
