Got home and parked it. Started it up and now check engine light is also on. Is this covered by the recall for extended warranty from ford ?”

Generally happens when accelerating between 10-40 miles. When it initially started it would happen 1-2 times a week. Now it happens every day. I have an appointment schedule to have dealer look at vehicle.”

I was driving to the bank and the car completely stopped responding to the gas pedal.a wrench light popped up as well as check engine light. Had to pull over because my car would no longer accelerate and quickly stopped moving. I was told by mechanic it was the throttle body.”
NHTSA complaint #10553990, filed 2013-11, 95,000 miles“While driving the auto just stopped and the check engine light came on and stayed on. I turned the auto off and restarted. It did this three times before I arrived back home. Took it to have a diagnostic test on the engine and code p2111 - throttle actuator stock open was the results. This is the second time this happened. The first time was 2 or 3 months ago but the check engine light did not come one.”
