“Consumer has been having trouble filling the gas tank, the shut off valve would constantly turn off, consumer was unable to tell if the tank was full or not after refueling, fuel would even spill out, the dealer replaced the filler neck, consumer is requesting reimbursement stating there were previous recall on this vehicle for this particular part before the vehicle was purchased.”
NHTSA complaint #563017, filed 2001-09“Power seat fore/aft inop - can't adjust. Both front head restraint plastic innards have disintegrated - wobble around -can't adjust. Found cruise control inop after delivery - replaced. Drivers seatbelt buckle stop button gone - falls to floor. Water pump impeler exploded on freeway - left stranded. Battery/cable shorted &burned - caused loss of engine power / steering upon short. Has also affected performance since incedent- - poor milage and such.automatic trans. Switch failed on freeway caused sudden/erratic slowing of vehicle in traffic and loss of acceleration ability.”
