“I have a 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse purchased new with goodyear eagle rsa p235/45r18 tires. The car has 23,000 miles and I just experienced my second blowout on the sidewall of a tire. On both occasions, the vehicle was being driven on suburban streets when the problem occurred.”

The contact stated while traveling at speeds of 25 MPH, the front drivers side tire tread separated, causing a blowout. The vehicle did not travel over anything to influence the tire failure. The tire had 42,000 miles at the time of the failure.”
