“Front brakes squeak and lock up when cold, (mornings) dealer say it's normal. My friend has an Outlander and he does not have the same problem. I have taken it it 4 to 5 times. The brakes locking up nearly caused a collision from the car behind me.”

The consumer put her foot on the brake and the vehicle wouldn't stop. The consumer used the emergency brake to stop. When consumer tried to stop while going 10 MPH the first time there was no pressure in the brakes and they went to the floor. Consumer didn't take the car to the mechanic at that time. The problem seemed to happen a once a month. In may it happened twice. The owner had the vehicle towed from work to the dealership who advised the consumer they could not find any problem. …”
