“Extremely low visbility. Bo matter how many timesbive changed or adjusting my headlights/bulbs there is no improvement at all. I finally changed the entire headlight itself and now I can finally see 2 feet in front of when its dark out. Nissan used horrible quality headlights at the cost of driver safety.”

NHTSA complaint #11402831, filed 2021-03, 22,000 miles

“The headlights on low beam are becoming less effective at lighting up the road at night. This began in 2017, but has gotten worse. The high beams work just fine, but the low beams are terribly dim on roads that have no street lights. On roads with street lights, I feel like I'm driving with the lights turned off. The car is becoming dangerous to drive at night.”

NHTSA complaint #11165155, filed 2019-01, 60,000 miles

“I am not able to drive my vehicle at night the regular headlights work as in they appear to come on but at night they are not visible to me driving I have to drive with my brights on. I teied to drive at night and almost wrecked due to oncoming traffic not allowinng me to see thhe very low beam my headlight puts off”

NHTSA complaint #11316858, filed 2020-03, 132,000 miles

“The head lights are dim and do not project out or to the side took to dealer three times and nothing keep saying it checks out so I took a video while on the hwy to show them and they say nothing they can do so the safety of my family means nothing to Nissan I have a sentra we see fine out of”

NHTSA complaint #11311766, filed 2020-02, 64,000 miles

“The lights are becoming dimmer and dimmer, changing the bulbs does not help. The issue seems to be in the reflector. The whole lighting unit needs to be replaced and Nissan won't replace it even though it is a defect in the lights. I do not feel safe driving at night. I have to use my high beams to even see.”
