Example complaints

Electrical system: “The entire dashboard, infotainment, and climate controls go blank, this happens all the time. Today, every warning light on the entire dashboard lit up buzzing, had to pull over to turn off car, open door and re start. This is very distracting, and dangerous. This gives no warning at all, it just happens. Been to the dealer 6 times now, on our way for 7. Two times we were at the dealer we were told there is nothing they can do until manufacturer puts out a software new update, the changed entire infotainment system, usb ports etc, the problem has seemed to have gotten worse.”

NHTSA complaint #11523355, filed 2023-05

Engine: “Check engine light and collision lights come on at start of vehicle due to the wiring harness issue. The throttle body and EMC have been replaced. This is a huge safety concern as it effects the engine and the operation of the vehicle. The problem continues even after the dealer has confirmed and reproduced the issue.”

NHTSA complaint #11746410, filed 2026-06

Forward collision avoidance: “I was approaching a railroad track, and my truck slammed on brakes coming to a complete stop. With other cars behind me twice, this is the second time that has happened i was almost hit in the back”

NHTSA complaint #11538835, filed 2023-08

Brakes: “The contact owns a 2022 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced abnormal battery drain, and the vehicle failed to immediately start. The contact stated that the ABS warning light was illuminated during the failure. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The battery was fully charged at the dealer, and the following day the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.”
