“Sway bar was loose from manufacturer. Purchased 7/31. In the first two weeks of driving, I noticed an unusual sound when I turned the vehicle hard one way. At first I thought it was the frame flexing as it was new, however, it seemed to get worse. I noticed the steering become more loose as days went on. I called my salesman who asked me to bring it in to have service take a look. Turns out that the swaybar was not screwed in tight or heck may have been missing a few bolts. Service center said that it came that way from the factory. …”

The contact stated that while unhooking the driver’s side sun visor to block the sun, the sun visor swung back and struck the contact in the face. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the failure was acknowledged; however, the contact was informed that a replacement part was on backorder. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was given the same information as the dealer. …”
