“When an adult sits in the passenger seat the passenger side airbag turns off. The passenger side airbag light comes on and it states the air bag is off. It happens anytime someone sits in the passenger seat. It is a major health hazard and if its not addressed and replaced. I will have no choice but to get my lawyer involved if an accident ever occurs and it doesn't deploy due to the faulty technology.”

NHTSA complaint #11185616, filed 2019-03, 80,000 miles

“When driving the vehicle, a passenger who sits in passenger seat the airbag notification light comes on indicating the airbag is off. We purchased this vehicle on july 29, 2017 with 37000 miles. We had to make videos to show the dealership that we purchased the vehicle. The dealership keeps saying they are unable to find problems bit it's a safety hazard to even drive this vehicle”

NHTSA complaint #11024698, filed 2017-09, 36,756 miles

“This has happened on multiple occasions. When driving with my wife (usually my only adult passenger) we have both noticed that the air bag light is on, stating that the air bag is turned off. This seems like it would be a dangerous situation if we got in an accident. This happens when we are driving or just sitting in the car stopped with the car on. Date of incident is a random date as this has happened multiple times.”

NHTSA complaint #11073844, filed 2018-02, 25,000 miles

“Passenger side air bag stays lit indicating that air bag is off and will not deploy in the event of a crash. This occurs when there is an adult passenger in the seat. Because the light is intermittent when taking it to the dealer if the light is off I am told there is no problem. This is a safety issues that needs to be addressed. I do not feel safe driving with a passenger.”

NHTSA complaint #10648635, filed 2014-10, 9,462 miles

“When there is a passenger sitting in the front passenger seat, sometimes the 'airbag off' indicator light will go on randomly. I even have video proof of this happening while my girlfriend, weighing 130 pounds, was sitting in the front passenger seat with her seatbelt on. The light would stay on for minutes, sometimes an hour, before randomly turning off. Also, the engines oxygen sensor randomly triggers the 'service engine' light as well, I believe it needs to be reprogrammed.”
