“Clogged sunroof drains have cause the cabin of the car to get a lot of water. Condensation/water buildup on the interior of windshield is constantly occurring causing my ability to see out the windshield to be almost impossible. Little electrical issues have been happening, such as turn signal bulbs going out. The vehicle now has a very moldy/mildew smell that's probably killing my lungs.”

NHTSA complaint #11386638, filed 2021-01, 80,000 miles

“While driving home on a parkway with no one near me in any direction, my sunroof spontaneously exploded. Fortunately the inner cover was closed and no debris fell on me, but scared the living daylights out of me. I have filed a claim with my insurance company but after doing internet research, I feel this is a manufacturing flaw.”

NHTSA complaint #10944533, filed 2017-01, 26,000 miles

“I leased a 2016 Nissan Rogue and from day one noticed that the chrome colored A/C vents reflect off side windows. This causes a constant view of the vents right in line with side view mirrors. I have attached photo. I asked Nissan to replace vent covers or paint them. They said only at my expense. I believe this is a safety issue and should be addressed. I have already swerved a few times trying to change lanes. It appeared there was something next to my vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #10885431, filed 2016-07, 30 miles

“I have been pulled over twice now because of passenger headlight out, and also the license plate lights out. When I went to replace bulbs both lights were in working order. The headlight was working when I first started driving. It quit while in motion. The license plate light quit working on a different occasion and I am not 100% sure if it worked when I first started to drive. I was pulled over and given a ticket. The next day I went to nearest auto parts store and purchased new bulbs. When I went to replace both bulbs they were both working. …”

NHTSA complaint #11405438, filed 2021-03, 68,000 miles

“My wife and (3) month old great granddaughter experienced a loud boom out of no where I immediately stopped and made sure the baby and my wife were not injured and then I became very angry that the sun roof exploded like this and put my baby life in unnecessary danger. Nissan says-it is not their fault and now want me to file on my insurance a charge more than 2,100.00. I have 1 question... Does everyone riding need to wear safety glasses now?!! This precious baby could have lost her vision and had possible disfigurement. This is a very scary problem.... (help)”
