“I have a 2026 Nissan Rogue and was driving on the interstate. Thought I got bad gas because I could push the accelerator and not go any faster. My check engine light came on and I had it tested. It is showing p2004 intake manifold runner control stuck open bank 1. I know some Nissan's have a recall on this but not my VIN number. Was wondering if this is a issue with other people and if would be a recall at some point.”

NHTSA complaint #11360431, filed 2020-09, 87,000 miles

“When I push the gas the car barely moves - literally - and then it will go all the sudden. It has almost caused multiple accidents because I can find no rhyme or reason to when it will happen.”

NHTSA complaint #11330135, filed 2020-06, 112,000 miles

“The accelerator sensing is erratic. Seems accentuated when turning either direction. When turning and leaving a stop, often instead of accelerating proportionally to accelerator depression, it will actually slow down instead of speed up. This could be quite dangerous when turning into the path of an oncoming vehicle that is far enough away that normal acceleration would place you out of the oncoming cars' path. Instead, you may be slowed enough unexpectedly to be in that oncoming cars' path. …”

NHTSA complaint #11194480, filed 2019-04, 40,000 miles

“Takata recall, Nissan Rogue 2016 awd sv fuel economy has a problem, the original characteristic said that the economy mpg: up to 26 city / 33 highway but I always get 20mpg city and 22 combined. I am being testing every single time when I fuel it, and always have around those numbers.”

NHTSA complaint #11023582, filed 2017-09

“From time to time the accelleration hesitates. I have to press the accelerator very deeply before the car starts moving. Usually it happens when the car reaches a complete stop and takes off. It clears after the engine restarts and works normally until it happens again. It is very random, no correlation to heat/cold or time driving. This has been happening since the car passed thr 50k miles. It never happened before. I have a second nissan rogue 2018 that is doing exactly the same after it passed the 50k miles. Some glitch must be happening in the electical system after a certain milage. …”
