“Purchased Nissan rouge new from dealership. Upon accruing 21,000 miles vehicle started shaking and vibrating all of a sudden while traveling down the interstate. Took vehicle to dealership and found out after investigation that there is foam inside the tire from manufacturer, to prevent road noise, that had come disengaged from the inner tire wall. I was unaware of foam being installed at the factory inside the tires to prevent road noise. I was charged by the dealership to for diagnostics to find out what was wrong with vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11166765, filed 2019-01, 21,000 miles

“Vehicle begins to shake roughly when going 55mph or more. The wobble even made my seatbelts lock up. Seems to be coming from around the tires maybe the suspension. The suspension looks just fine, didnt seem loose, yet at highway speeds feels very dangerous! Nothing noticeable while driving through town.”

NHTSA complaint #11307690, filed 2020-02, 38,536 miles

“While slowing down or turning, vehicle is making wearied broken popping noise from rear wheels or axle. I have requested the Nissan dealer to diagnose the issue, but they were unable to identify this issue since 3 weeks and then they called Nissan engineer for help but still they are also unable to identify the issue so Nissan engineer created engineering review request for this issue. Till now no update from the dealer or Nissan and there is no et for the fix.”

NHTSA complaint #11340544, filed 2020-07, 46,250 miles

“On 12/17/2022 I was driving 45 mph down a straight road. Suddenly the vehicle swerved left into oncoming traffic (so I was face to face with another vehicle), then swerved right very hard and then left again. My car was its two left tires only for a few seconds during this time. After it swerved across the lane 3 times, I was able to control the steering wheel again. I just missed the car in the opposing lane and my car was also heading towards a telephone poll before I regained the ability to control the car again. …”

NHTSA complaint #11497937, filed 2022-12

“At March 23rd, 2024, we have oil change on the car. The service sales came back to tell us that the front lower control arms' bushing is torn and needed repair immediately. Without repairing them, the wheels may disengage from the car. So we have them replaced, since losing the wheels during driving will cost our lives. This is for our safety. What can we do???!!! On conversation with the sales, he said this is a common phenomenon. Our problem on this is that, all the cars that we have owned, we never had the issue. This is the first time. Is this a common occurrence? We are not sure. …”
