“The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the infotainment system would turn off or reboot independently. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving at various speeds under rainy weather conditions, the forward collision avoidance system would independently disengage. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed, but the diagnosis information was unavailable. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. …”
NHTSA complaint #11678439, filed 2025-08, 69,000 miles“The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that on multiple occasions while in reverse, the rear-view camera display was black. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that there was corrosion in the plug and the rear-view camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired and two weeks later the failure reoccurred twice. The contact believed that the failure was associated with NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 22V772000 (Back Over Prevention) and 22V527000 (Back Over Prevention, Equipment). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. …”
